Odoo for Hispanic-Owned and Bilingual Businesses in the US

A system in English, a team that works in Spanish, and a consulting firm that responds during your business hours. You don't have to pick two out of three.

Many US companies — Hispanic-owned businesses in Florida and Texas especially — run with a team that thinks and works in Spanish while the software, the accountant and the vendors all speak English. That friction gets paid for in errors and in training that doesn't stick.

What we solve

Why a nearshore consulting firm

Same hours

Central America works within US business hours. A question at 9 a.m. gets answered at 9 a.m.

Native Spanish

Process discovery and training happen in the language your team actually works in.

Reasonable cost

Nearshore rates with a formal development practice: version control, test environments and code that belongs to you.

Tax obligations in the United States vary by state and municipality. Before configuring taxes, settle with your CPA what the ERP should calculate and what gets handled outside it.

Companies operating in two countries

It's a common case: the US entity sells, and a related company in Central America manufactures or supplies. Odoo lets you run both companies in the same instance, with separate charts of accounts and localizations, controlled intercompany transactions and a consolidated view for management. We've built proprietary intercompany validation modules precisely for this scenario.

If your operation crosses borders, see also Odoo in Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala.

Frequently asked questions

Can you implement Odoo for a company registered in the United States?

Yes. The work is done remotely from Costa Rica, during US business hours, and in English or Spanish as each user needs. Accounting is set up together with your local CPA, who defines the chart of accounts and the tax treatment.

Does Odoo handle US sales tax?

Yes, with tax configuration by jurisdiction, or through integration with a specialized tax calculation service when the company sells in multiple states. Which route to take depends on volume and the number of jurisdictions involved.

Does Odoo make sense if I already use QuickBooks?

It depends on what's not working for you. If the problem is inventory, manufacturing, eCommerce or margin control, Odoo covers ground an accounting system doesn't. Some companies migrate everything; others keep their accounting where it is and integrate. Both are valid decisions, and we evaluate them during the assessment.

Do you provide support in English?

Yes, in English and Spanish. Training is delivered in the language each team works in, which in practice is often mixed: operations in Spanish and management reports in English.
